We’re required to test the pumps on all of our fire engines annually and after the rig has had any major mechanical work completed. In the past we’ve had to rely on an outside contractor to travel to Station 61 and perform the tests. When you add up the number of engines and potential number of required tests…it equates to a lot of time and money. But no more. Now, with the addition of Master Mechanic Brad Osborn we can pump test the engines without the need of an outside contractor. It’s an increased level of self-sufficency that also saves a wad of cash.
