Ten fire suppression volunteers recently finished their training academy. At the Board meeting on July 17, 2018, they were sworn by the Board Chair, Casey Collins. The new suppression volunteers are: Jared Bacon, Michael Ceccacci, Charlie Cutter, Michael Lucci, Ian Mansfield, Tiffany Mercer, Dallin Montgomery, Jeremy Newton, Tyler Raymond and Brandon Yu.
Scott Taube and Nick McCarty have met the requirements in the Classification Plan for Captain IV. Their achievement in attaining the highest step of Captain in the District has taken time and effort on their part and they are to be commended and congratulated. Their step increase takes effect July 1st.
