Christmas came early for Fire District 6 as our two new engines arrived today! The two American-made Pierce pumpers travelled from Wisconsin to Seattle and then finally to Station 61. There have been a constant stream of Firefighters checking them out. It will still be about another month before they’re put into service. We have to outfit them with hose, tools, and a never-ending list of important details. But aren’t they beauties!?
